About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Well Interventions & Well Services leader to join our field operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, planning, execution, and supervision of all well intervention activities across our wells and satellite fields. This role is key in ensuring operational integrity, HSE compliance, and high‑performance delivery in a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Prepare, supervise, and oversee all well intervention operations: Workover, Coiled Tubing, Slickline, Snubbing, Well Testing.
  • Ensure safe execution of activities in strict accordance with operational procedures and HSE standards.
  • Monitor daily operations, validate job reports, and approve operational cost sheets and service tickets.

Planning & Coordination

  • Plan activities and allocate resources (personnel, equipment, rigs, tools) according to operational needs.
  • Coordinate with the Well Department, Subsurface teams, maintenance, and service companies.
  • Assist the Department Manager in delivering annual and monthly intervention programs.

Technical Excellence

  • Lead investigations and propose solutions for well integrity issues or operational anomalies.
  • Support technical studies for workover candidates, new wells, and improvement projects.
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures and intervention guidelines.

Team Management & Development

  • Supervise Engineers, Foremen, and Technicians involved in well operations.
  • Ensure effective use of human and material resources.
  • Prepare and implement continuous training programs for field personnel.

Equipment & Asset Management

  • Ensure availability, maintenance, and integrity of all well intervention equipment and departmental assets.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for field and satellite equipment.

HSE Performance

  • Promote and enforce a strong HSE culture across all field operations.
  • Participate in HSE inspections, audits, risk assessments, and emergency planning.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the HSE Management System.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in Petroleum Engineering, Hydrocarbon Production, or related field.
  • +10 years of experience supervising well intervention operations. Experience in Algeria is a plus.
  • Strong command of well intervention techniques and equipment.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
  • Proficiency in English, French is a plus.
  • Standard computer tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, initiative, and teamwork orientation.
