Context

The wind operator is deeply committed to the renewable energies sector. With a portfolio of concrete projects totaling around 20 GW in several areas such as solar, onshore wind and offshore wind, and strong ambitions to have 100 GW of renewable energies by 2030, the Group is becoming a key player in the energy transition.

The position to be procured is within the Operator's Global Procurement team, in theWind category, specific to wind energy projects.

The service is designed to support the definition and implementation of the category's purchasing strategies, in close collaboration with the company's technical teams, who will contribute all their expertise, and the development teams, who are looking to supply the project portfolio.

With a global presence, the scope of activity of this service is equally extensive, with internal and external contacts and activities in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and America.

Objectives and deliverables

Objectivesupport for the definition and implementation of the turbine procurement strategy for onshore wind farms, in collaboration with the other members of the category. Specifically :

  • Help define and implement procurement strategies by segment, by carrying out an in-depth analysis of the relevant markets and working closely with our internal teams.
  • Market analyses to identify key players in each sector, monitor their evolution and performance, and develop pricing structure models and benchmarks by industry.
  • Preparation of briefing notes and presentations covering the various technical and market aspects of the category.
  • Support to project teams during origination and bid preparation phases, as well as in managing the bidding process and contract negotiations.
  • Assisting in the development of standard contract templates for each technical package of the projects.

Deliverables will be structured according to the needs of the category, particularly in terms of governance:

  • Briefing notes
  • Technical/market presentations
  • Price analyses
  • Other, to be defined with the support of other category members

Required Skills

  • Ability to analyze and synthesize; rigor - Expert
  • Power BI - Elementary
  • Experience in contractual and commercial negotiation with industrial equipment manufacturers and/or players on major construction sites - Expert
  • Communication and negotiation skills; ability to work in matrix mode - Expert
  • Proficiency in Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint - Confirmed
  • Contract negotiation; good understanding of industrial projects and the renewable energy sector is essential. - Expert
  • experience in onshore wind power would be a plus - Advanced

Languages

  • Fluency in English.
