Context & Environment

In 2021, the COMPANY discovered an extensive oil and associated gas field 70 km off the coast of Abidjan, Ivory Coast at a depth of 1,200 metres. It was the first commercial discovery in the country in the past 20 years. We call it fast track and it consists in running the design, authorisation and execution phases in parallel. Another innovative aspect of the project is the reuse of an existing FPSO, modernised and made technologically more advanced to ensure an accelerated start-up, optimising costs and time and minimising the waste of raw materials and construction materials.

Main Activities

· To participate at the payments process: preparation of Payment Orders, obtain signature and transfers arrangement;

· To participate at the Bank Reconciliations and cash flow monitoring for ECI accounts

· To support Line manager for the supervision of Petty cash management

· To Liaise with the banks for day to day matters;

· To participate at the posting of payments;

· To Support Line manager for preparation of PCFM plan on monthly basis;

· To Prepare SOA documents as per risk matrix role and responsibilities

· To perform reconciliation and filing of Bank statements and Treasury documents;

· To prepare the collection and archive of the documents required by compliance and auditors;

· To support in month-closing, half-year and year-end closing procedure;

· Other duties as required by Line Manager

Main Interfaces

Internal: The job holder interfaces with Finance, Technical, HR, Commercial Departments

External: The job holder interfaces with external parties as per request from Line Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

The job holder must have:

· University degree (2 years degree/Bachelor) in finance or economy

· At least 3 years of related experience in treasury department;

· Knowledge of international and local accounting principles;

Required Competencies & Skills

The job holder must have proven:

· Working Knowledge of computerized accounting system (preferably SAP system)

· Be familiar with finance procedures

· Good interpersonal & communication skills

· Accuracy

· Team player

· Capability to work with PC, MS office programs

· Good oral and written English
