Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and control the entire drilling operations activities, ensuring the successful completion of the well and drilling activities while liaising closely with Drilling Supervisor.
- At all times considering the safety of personnel, the environment, and equipment to maximize drilling operation efficiency.
- Plan and schedule all drilling operations on super light Rig, using MPD system.
- Direct rig crew towards.
- Achieving job performance as per Senior Drilling Supervisor Work Instructions.
- Ensure that well control requirements are in place according to operational requirements.
- Assist in supervising well killing operations in any well control situation.
- Ensure planned maintenance, sufficient stock and drilling equipment as per requirements.
- Lead and develop drilling crews while promoting a strong safety culture.
- Prepare drilling ops reports, equipment status as per company procedures and regulatory standards.
Key Requirements
- EU National
- 12 years’ experience in Onshore Oil & Gas or Deep Geothermal, including time served as an Assistant Driller and Driller.
- At least 2 years’ experience in Continental Europe.
- IWCF Level 4 certificate.
- OPITO H2S, MIST or BOSIET.
- OEUK Medical Certificate.
Leadership & HSE Competencies
- Strong leadership and effective communication skills in multicultural, multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong risk management and contingency skills.
- Committed to health, safety, security, and environmental standards.
