Subcontract Administrator Engineer

Contract Conditions

  • Duration 6 months
  • Rotation 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off (6×2)
  • Working Hours 10 hours per day
  • Location Skikda, Algeria
  • Mandatory Only local candidates from Skikda are eligible.

Job Summary

The Subcontract Administrator Engineer is responsible for managing subcontract agreements throughout the project lifecycle. The role ensures that subcontractors comply with contractual obligations, project specifications, quality standards, and schedule requirements while maintaining effective coordination between the client, project team, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor subcontract agreements from award to close-out.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure contractual compliance and timely execution of work.
  • Review subcontract documentation, including contracts, variations, claims, and payment applications.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, progress, and deliverables.
  • Support the evaluation and selection of subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project control teams.
  • Identify contractual risks and assist in resolving disputes and claims.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, and HSE requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of subcontract documentation and correspondence.
  • Prepare reports on subcontract status, progress, and commercial performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in subcontract administration within construction, EPC, or oil & gas projects.
  • Good knowledge of contract management and project execution.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management documentation.
