Subcontract Administrator Engineer Electrical

Position Subcontract Administrator Engineer - Electrical

Contract Duration 1 Year

Rotation 6 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off

Working Hours 10 Hours per Day

Main Responsibilities

  • Administer and coordinate electrical subcontract activities in accordance with project requirements, contract conditions, and company procedures.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance related to electrical construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Review subcontract agreements, technical specifications, work scopes, and project documentation.
  • Ensure subcontractors comply with project schedules, quality standards, HSE requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to support project execution.
  • Track progress of electrical subcontract works and identify delays or performance issues.
  • Review and validate subcontractor progress reports, timesheets, invoices, and variation requests.
  • Participate in technical and commercial meetings with subcontractors and client representatives.
  • Support preparation and follow-up of RFIs, NCRs, punch lists, and corrective action plans.
  • Assist in material coordination, site logistics, and work planning for electrical activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation, records management, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor compliance with electrical codes, standards, and project specifications.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, subcontract administration, or construction coordination within industrial, oil & gas, power, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical construction, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Knowledge of contract administration, subcontract management, and project controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and HSE standards.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with multicultural teams and subcontractors.
  • Electrical engineering degree or relevant technical qualification preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Rotation schedule: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
  • 10-hour working days.
