Position Rotating Equipment QA/QC Inspector

Contract Duration 1 Year

Rotation 6 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off

Working Hours 10 Hours per Day

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform QA/QC inspections on rotating equipment activities including installation, alignment, testing, and commissioning.
  • Ensure all works are executed in compliance with project specifications, vendor requirements, and international standards.
  • Inspect equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, fans, and associated mechanical systems.
  • Verify installation quality including alignment, coupling, lubrication systems, and auxiliary piping connections.
  • Witness and review testing activities such as alignment checks, vibration analysis, performance tests, and pre-commissioning checks.
  • Review and validate inspection reports, test records, vendor documentation, and quality dossiers.
  • Ensure compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), procedures, and project quality requirements.
  • Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with construction, commissioning, engineering, and vendor representatives during inspections and site activities.
  • Participate in walkdowns, punch list activities, and final mechanical completion inspections.
  • Ensure strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) procedures during all inspection activities.
  • Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation and provide daily inspection reports to management.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a QA/QC Inspector for rotating equipment in oil & gas, petrochemical, power, or industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment installation, alignment, and commissioning procedures.
  • Familiarity with vendor manuals, mechanical standards, and inspection requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
  • Good understanding of QA/QC documentation, ITPs, and reporting systems.
  • Experience with vibration monitoring and performance testing is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Mechanical engineering degree or relevant technical qualification preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Rotation schedule: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
  • 10-hour working days.
  • Site-based position in an industrial or construction environment.
