Contract Duration: 12 months

Mission Context

As part of the development of its industrial activities, our client is seeking an experienced consultant to lead procurement activities for the “Industrial Equipment” segment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Monitoring & Supplier Strategy
    • Maintain economic, technological, and competitive intelligence for the segment.
    • Identify new suppliers and monitor the existing supplier panel, including risk assessments.
    • Challenge internal requestors regarding needs and specifications to streamline and consolidate requirements.
  • Procurement Process Management
    • Oversee all procurement steps in compliance with internal procedures, the procurement policy, ethics charter, and code of conduct.
    • Contribute to the drafting of pre-qualification and tender documentation for strategic procurements.
    • Independently manage tenders for lower-risk contracts (limited scope and value).
    • Negotiate contracts and spot orders.
    • Draft contracts in accordance with the client’s rules and procedures.
    • Ensure the rollout and operational follow-up of framework agreements across operational sites.
  • Contract Execution & Operational Support
    • Monitor the contract and purchase order portfolio.
    • Provide support to field teams for contract management and execution.
    • Ensure proper application of framework agreements negotiated by category managers.
    • Assist operational teams in dispute resolution, in collaboration with legal, insurance, and finance departments.
  • Supplier & Performance Monitoring
    • Track purchasing performance and compliance indicators.
    • Monitor supplier performance within the category.
    • Prepare and lead supplier performance reviews and evaluations.
    • Ensure suppliers and requestors are informed of HSE, subcontracting, quality, and environmental policies.
    • Gather and consolidate all required reporting information.

Deliverables

  • Final mission report submitted for client approval.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in industrial procurement and sourcing strategy
  • Strong command of end-to-end procurement and contract processes
  • Knowledge of industrial environments and cross-functional coordination
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Results-oriented with attention to compliance
  • Languages: Fluent French & English required
