Mud Engineer

· Site locationAssens - Switzerland

· ProjectDeep Geothermal project

· Work schedule Rotational 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off

· Working hours 12 hours a day

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite drilling fluid services on super light Rig and using MPD system, including testing, monitoring and controlling fluid properties.
  • Supervise fluid mixing, treatment and pumping operations throughout the drilling program.
  • Analyze drilling fluid performance & provide technical recommendations to support safe & efficient drilling.
  • Monitor fluid consumption and contribute to cost control and operational performance.
  • Collaborate closely with drilling teams and contractors to support drilling objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and HSE standards.
  • Support, mentor and train junior engineers when required.

Key Requirements

  • EU National
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 10 years’ experience in Onshore Oil & Gas or Deep Geothermal Operations.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Continental Europe.
  • IWCF Level 2 certificate.
  • OPITO H2S, MIST or BOSIET.
  • OEUK Medical Certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of drilling fluids, solids control and wellbore stability.
  • Committed to health, safety, security, and environmental standards.
