Material Supervisor

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain operational procedures / guidelines / instructions related to material operations and warehousing procedures. Scrutinize all material requirements, plan, and organize resource allocation together with transportation arrangement including communicate with users and contractors to deliver materials timely to meet user requirements.
• Ensure that handling equipment and lifting appliances used are certified in accordance with Company Lifting Policy and specifications.
• Control all material movement and monitoring stock movements & transactions in stock management system (reception, movement, dispatch, exit and return), ensuring all materials / stock transactions are properly recorded and documented at both warehouses and operating locations according to Company procedures.
• Prepare related statistics/ reports/ document for warehouse management.
• Participate in periodic physical stock checking according to Company requirements and ensuring consistency between physical inventory and stock record. Direct the investigation for justifications of stock discrepancies as required.
• Ensure all stock, material scraps, and wastes are write-off in compliance with Company procedures.
• Arrange and optimize storage facilities e.g., yard, warehouse.
• Ensure good maintenance of storage equipment e.g., pallet, racks as well as handling equipment according to required procedures and HSE standards.
• Ensure periodic maintenance of stock kept in warehouse and yard.
• Monitor operation materials and drilling equipment items inspection according to Company requirements.
• Overall assist Head of Material Management to supervise and control COMPANY logistics operations in Hassi Bir Rekaiz (well locations).
• Overall assist Head of Material Management to monitor the proper custom clearance and transport operations of goods imported to/exported from (via Sea port) Hassi Bir Rekaiz
• Overall assist Head of Material Management to obtain necessary permits for military escort and security issues required by rules and regulations to support COMPANY exploration activities e.g., seismic acquisition, drilling and logistics works in (between) the areas of Hassi Bir Rekaiz (seismic acquisition area and well locations).
• Act as a Head of Material Management or any other logistics positions (e.g., Material Coordinator, stock management officer) in Operation Camp in Hassi Bir Rekaiz during the anytime absence of person in charge of such positions.
• Promote and follow Company’s HSE policy and regulations in all works under responsibility.
• Any other works, in addition to the mentioned works, as shall be assigned by Company and further agreed between Company and staff.

Professional Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in University studies, Logistics, or related fields
• At least 5-7 years experiences working in similar position or relevant functions in Oil & Gas business.
• Familiar with SAP system.
• Basic knowledge of handling heavy part or equipment, chemical and dangerous good regulations
• Proficient in computer and standard software's (Word & Excel)
• Fluent in Arabic, French and English languages, all speaking and writing.
• Good in following soft skills; planning, problem solving, collaboration, and communication.
• Good team & interpersonal skills.
• Proven initiative, personal attributes, and operational skills.

• Have experience working in process facility is advantage
