Insulating & Painting QA/QC Inspector (start U/G and then Prefabrication) – 443901720

Position Insulating & Painting QA/QC Inspector

(Start with Underground activities, then Prefabrication phase)

Contract Duration 1 Year

Rotation 6 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off

Working Hours 10 Hours per Day

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform QA/QC inspections for insulation and painting activities in accordance with project specifications, procedures, and international standards.
  • Monitor underground (U/G) works during the initial project phase, followed by prefabrication inspection activities.
  • Verify surface preparation, blasting, painting application, coating thickness, insulation installation, and final finishing works.
  • Conduct inspections and tests related to coating and insulation systems, ensuring compliance with quality requirements.
  • Review and verify inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation.
  • Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up on corrective actions when required.
  • Coordinate with construction, subcontractors, and client representatives during inspections and site activities.
  • Ensure all works comply with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) procedures and company standards.
  • Participate in walkdowns, punch list activities, and final acceptance inspections.
  • Maintain inspection records and provide daily progress updates to QA/QC management.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a QA/QC Inspector in insulation and painting/coating activities within industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, or construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of surface preparation, coating systems, insulation materials, and inspection techniques.
  • Familiarity with international standards related to painting and insulation inspection.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, procedures, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
  • Experience with underground and prefabrication activities is preferred.
  • Good understanding of QA/QC documentation and reporting processes.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills in multicultural environments.
  • Relevant certification in coating/painting inspection is an advantage.

Working Conditions

  • Rotation schedule: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
  • 10-hour working days.
  • Site-based position in an industrial or construction environment.
