Field Service Engineer

Assignment Details

  • Location: Hassi Messaoud (HMD), Algeria
  • Start Date: 13 July
  • End Date: 28 July
  • Theme: Operation & Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct practical Operator Training Simulator (OTS) sessions.
  • Explain system architecture, control philosophy, and operational sequences.
  • Train personnel on startup, shutdown, normal operation, and emergency procedures.
  • Provide troubleshooting guidance for alarms, trips, and system faults.
  • Support hands-on exercises and practical demonstrations.
  • Evaluate trainees' understanding and provide technical recommendations.
  • Prepare and submit training reports and attendance records.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and site procedures throughout the training period.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Control Engineering.
  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, or Control System Engineer in the Oil & Gas or Power Generation industry.
  • Experience with turbine operation, maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Familiarity with Human Machine Interface (HMI), control logic, alarms, trips, and system diagnostics.
  • Previous experience delivering technical training or mentoring operations and maintenance personnel is highly desirable.
