Contract Duration: 6 Months

Rotation: 6/2

Working Hours: 10 hours per day

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate field equipment and process systems during commissioning and operational activities.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment, pipelines, valves, pumps, compressors, and utilities systems.
  • Assist in start-up, shutdown, and operational testing activities.
  • Monitor process parameters and report abnormalities or deviations to supervisors and control room operators.
  • Perform field checks to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  • Support commissioning activities including flushing, leak testing, line checks, and system verification.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE procedures, permit-to-work systems, and operational safety standards.
  • Coordinate with control room operators, maintenance teams, and commissioning personnel during operations.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and emergency response activities when required.
  • Maintain operational logs, inspection records, and shift reports.
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and operational briefings.
  • Ensure work areas and equipment are maintained in safe and clean condition.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

  • Technical diploma or degree in Process Operations, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Operations, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in plant operations, commissioning, or industrial field operations.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas plants, refineries, petrochemical facilities, gas processing plants, or power plants is preferred.
  • Previous experience in commissioning and start-up operations is an advantage.
  • EPC project experience is desirable.

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of plant operations and industrial process systems.
  • Familiarity with commissioning and operational procedures.
  • Ability to read and understand:
    • P&IDs
    • Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
    • Equipment datasheets
    • Operational procedures
  • Knowledge of permit-to-work systems and HSE requirements.
  • Basic understanding of pumps, compressors, valves, and utility systems.
  • Familiarity with emergency response and troubleshooting procedures.

  • Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Good problem-solving and operational awareness.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to operational demands.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in industrial field environments.
