Position Title Day Drilling Supervisor (offshore)
Location Offshore (Jack-Up Rig)
Reports To Drilling Manager
Job Summary The Day Drilling Supervisor oversees daytime drilling operations on a jack-up rig, ensuring activities are safe, efficient, and compliant with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise drilling crew and coordinate activities.
- Monitor and optimize drilling operations.
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety meetings.
- Inspect and maintain drilling equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
- Prepare daily reports on drilling progress.
- Train and mentor junior crew members.
- Communicate with onshore teams and third-party providers.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in offshore drilling operations
- Strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards
- Valid IWCF Level 4
- Valid BOSIET certificate
