Chef Service Electricien / Electrical Lead

Job Purpose

  • To lead and supervise all generation and electrical maintenance activities, in full compliance with safety rules and procedures.
  • To intervene in case of failures or electrical incidents in the production area.
  • To carry out works related to new modifications on installations.
  • To perform annual inspections and revisions of electrical installations.
  • To maintain the power distribution system, including transformers and protection systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the achievement of electrical and HVAC maintenance objectives.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of installations and the quality of work performed.
  • Submit a daily report of completed activities.
  • Ensure availability of spare parts for critical systems.
  • React effectively to any incidents on electrical systems.
  • Propose reliability improvement actions, define and track the electrical maintenance plan.
  • Perform and/or validate reliability studies, ensuring compliance with standards and technical specifications.
  • Lead technical investigations for major failures of critical equipment.
  • Manage the allocated maintenance budget.
  • Propose and implement modifications on installations as required.
  • Ensure continuous development and training of staff under supervision.
  • Check the compliance and quality of work performed by the team.
  • Support the emergency response team when needed.
  • Oversee annual inspections and revisions of all electrical installations.
  • Manage and supervise the team and their activities.
  • Act as back-up and deputy to the Maintenance Department Manager when needed.
  • Participate in commissioning and start-up activities.
  • Contribute to the Maintenance & Inspection Engineering activities.
  • Take part in the development of the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Required Competencies

Education

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering

Additional Training

  • Leadership and HSE-related certifications

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical maintenance, including at least 4 years in a supervisory role

Specific Knowledge

  • Budget management fundamentals

Technical Skills

  • Industrial electricity
  • Safety in electrical installations
