Context & Environment

In 2021, the COMPANY discovered an extensive oil and associated gas field 70 km off the coast of Abidjan, Ivory Coast at a depth of 1,200 metres. It was the first commercial discovery in the country in the past 20 years. We call it fast track and it consists in running the design, authorisation and execution phases in parallel. Another innovative aspect of the project is the reuse of an existing FPSO, modernised and made technologically more advanced to ensure an accelerated start-up, optimising costs and time and minimising the waste of raw materials and construction materials.

Main Activities

Ø Ensuring the maximum efficiency and availability of all production equipment.

Ø Ensuring safety operations and environment care.

Ø Monitoring and controlling production parameters in relation to all the processes of oil and gas production.

Ø Coordinating O&M Contractor production staff/operators daily activities.

Ø Preparing daily, weekly and monthly Production Reports.

Ø Supervising chemicals stocks and injections and relevant performance.

Ø Providing to O&M Contractor Operators input/feedback into maintenance programs and production planning activities

Qualifications & Experience:

Ø Technical High School/Diploma.

Ø Good knowledge of English

Ø 8 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience in production plant field operations.

Ø Management basic skills

Ø HSE basic courses (preferred)

Ø Oil and Gas surface production facilities course (preferred)

Ø BOSIET (Mandatory)

Ø Plant Commissioning - Start Up: Commissioning Planning & Plant Commissioning, Gas Plant Start-Up, Oil & Condensate Plant Start-Up, Decommissioning

Ø Production Operations: Plant Management, Plant Production Optimization, Maintenance Management, Predictive Maintenance, Operation/Maintenance Advising
