Context & Environment

In 2021, the COMPANY discovered an extensive oil and associated gas field 70 km off the coast of Abidjan, Ivory Coast at a depth of 1,200 metres. It was the first commercial discovery in the country in the past 20 years. We call it fast track and it consists in running the design, authorisation and execution phases in parallel. Another innovative aspect of the project is the reuse of an existing FPSO, modernised and made technologically more advanced to ensure an accelerated start-up, optimising costs and time and minimising the waste of raw materials and construction materials.

Main Activities

Ø Maintenance plan accuracy, feasibility and compliance with short/medium term production targets.

Ø Analysis of approved work requests and definition of work to be executed in their respect

Ø Establishment of resources necessary for work execution (manpower, materials, tools, contractors).

Ø Analysis and selection of preventive maintenance works on the basis of expiration dates

Preparation of monthly Work Plan and joint analysis with production

Ø Checking the availability of materials in respect to the established work dates

Ø Executing the weekly work scheduling and distribution to the concerned units

Ø Analysis of work feedback in order to improve maintenance process

Ø Approve and optimize work orders issued by Contractor, if any

Qualifications & Experience:

Ø Minimum Degree Qualification in relevant Engineering discipline (Bachelor’s degree / Diploma)

Ø 5 Years of Oil and Gas Industry experience,

Ø Maintenance engineering

Ø CMMS management (SAP)

Required Competencies

Ø Production Operations: Maintenance Management, Predictive Maintenance

Ø KPI maintenance calculation and reporting

Ø Maintenance Operations: Mechanical Maintenance, Telecommunication Maintenance,

Ø Instrumentation Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance, Troubleshooting techniques knowledge

Ø Maintenance Engineering: CMMS- SAP Activities, Maintenance systems and policies knowledge

Ø Specialist Knowledge: Engineering knowledge in the specialist activity

Ø Organization Processes: Internal Standard

Ø Planning target control; Excellence orientation; Communication; Listening and reception

Ø Previous experience in the upstream O&G industry with exposures to offshore and onshore projects

Ø Significant hands-on experience

Ø Deep knowledge of maintenance process

Ø Computer literate

Ø Good communication in English language (verbal and written)
