Position: Foremen Gas Turbine (Pratt & Whitney GG4 and Free Turbine FT4 gas turbines)
A highly skilled and experienced role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Pratt & Whitney GG4 and Free Turbine FT4 gas turbines. The Foreman will lead a team of technicians in performing a variety of tasks, including:
Job Description
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of Pratt & Whitney GG4 and Free Turbine FT4 gas turbines. engines.
- Supervise a team of technicians and mechanics responsible for the servicing and troubleshooting of GG4 engine components.
- Ensure all maintenance and repair activities are conducted according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to maximize engine performance and reliability.
- Liaise with engineering and technical support teams to address complex issues and implement design improvements.
- Monitor inventory levels of critical spare parts and consumables, and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians to develop their skills and expertise.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, component replacements, and engine performance data.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and environmental guidelines. Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in gas turbine engine maintenance and repair, specifically with Pratt & Whitney GG4 and Free Turbine FT4 gas turbines. Prior experience in a supervisory role is highly desirable. • Strong technical understanding of gas turbine engine systems, components, and repair procedures.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of technicians.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and data analysis tools
