Drilling & Completion Supervisor

Job Title : D&C Supervisor

Location : Abu Dhabi – UAE

Reports to : Drilling Superintendent

Experience : 3+ Years in D&C

Purpose:

To supervise drilling and completion execution assuring that operations conforms to plans and are being carried out safely, efficiently and economically, managing manpower, rigs, material supplies and stocks, resolving difficulties which could otherwise delay drilling progress.

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• To ensure contractor personnel, services and material, are available at rig site when required so to avoid any delay in operations.
• To supervise drilling and completion operations carried out by Company's and Contractor's personnel at rig site
• To coordinate drilling and completion activities in accordance with program, Company procedures and best practices
• To report to drilling/completion superintendent on regular basis on the progress of operations and agree on any corrective action if necessary
• To monitor the consumptions and stock of materials available at rig site and request personnel, materials, and services in due time in order to avoid any delay in the operations.
• To represent the Company at rig site in all matters
• To ensure that drilling and completion operations are carried out in safety, with good oilfield practice and in accordance with program and all the relevant Company standards and HSEQ procedures.

HSE Responsibilities

Ensure that company personnel policies appropriately reflect corporate and applicable statutory requirements for occupational health, safety and environmental issues through training and induction. Ensure that all activities are carried out in full compliance of company procedures and best HSE practices.

Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment through:

• Adherence to company HSE Policy and procedures.
• Adherence to HSE guidelines
• Identification of HSE hazards in the work place.
• Reporting of HSE Accident/Incidents/Near Miss.

Additional HSE Responsibilities:

• Ensuring adherence to company HSE guidelines , policies and procedures
• Ensuring awareness of company emergency response procedure

Main Interfaces:

Third party validation or local authorities

• Equivalent contractors & subcontractors position

Qualifications & Experience:

• Fluent Knowledge of English
• Basic Knowledge of the local language preferred
• 3 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience
• 3 years in Drilling and Completion Activities

Working Conditions:

Office environment in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Business trips to operational sites and to the other subsidiaries in the Region might be required.
