Senior Mechanical Technician – Nuclear Refueling Outage
Key Responsibilities
- Execute mechanical maintenance and overhaul activities
- Support dismantling, inspection and reassembly works
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Follow outage schedules and maintenance procedures
- Ensure compliance with HSE and nuclear safety requirements
- Support rotating equipment and general mechanical maintenance activities
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 5-8 years of mechanical maintenance experience
- Previous shutdown/refueling outage experience
- Power plant or heavy industrial experience
- Ability to work in shift-based outage environments
- Good English communication skills
Strongly Preferred
- Previous Barakah Nuclear Power Plant experience
- APR1400 exposure
- GCC power generation experience
- Nuclear outage experience
Internal Sourcing Constraints
- Prioritize candidates with previous Barakah site experience
- Prioritize candidates previously mobilized on GCC nuclear or power projects
- Avoid sourcing candidates from nationalities historically facing Barakah clearance restrictions
- Preferred sourcing regions: India, South Africa, Philippines and GCC-experienced expatriates
