Senior Authorised Person (SAP) – Chargé de Consignation

Contract duration: 12 months renewable

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Safety & Isolation Management

• Act as Senior Authorised Person (SAP) under NFC 18-510
• Identify and implement electrical isolations for HV/MV equipment
• Ensure safe application and removal of LOTO procedures
• Verify that all electrical isolations are properly documented and implemented
• Safely energize and de-energize equipment up to 225kV
• Ensure electrical work complies with project HSE rules and electrical safety regulations

Switching Operations

• Perform and supervise HV/MV switching operations
• Prepare and follow switching schedules and switching procedures
• Coordinate switching operations with the Control Engineer
• Record and monitor all switching activities

Commissioning Support

• Support commissioning activities and electrical tests
• Participate in pre-energization and post-energization inspections
• Ensure electrical equipment is ready for safe testing and commissioning
• Assist commissioning teams in preparing equipment for test execution

Work Authorization & Safety Supervision

• Review and prepare RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements)
• Coordinate work under Permit to Work (PTW) systems
• Ensure contractors comply with project safety requirements
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings

Coordination & Reporting

• Interface with subcontractors and project stakeholders
• Coordinate activities across multiple subcontractor teams
• Monitor safety performance and report HSE observations
• Maintain records of electrical operations and activities
• Provide shift handover reports

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong experience in HV switching operations up to 225kV
• Experience acting as Senior Authorised Person or similar electrical safety role
• Good understanding of electrical networks and switchgear
• Experience in wind farm projects (offshore preferred)
• Recommended 3 years of experience in wind industry
• At least 1 year experience in a similar role
• Ability to work in international project teams
• Fluent in English (French is a strong advantage)
• Basic proficiency with MS Office
