HSE Senior Engineer

Job Summary

We are currently looking for an experienced & professional HSE SENIOR ENGINEER to join our professional services team.

Requirements

• Graduate in an engineering discipline (bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, etc) with an appropriate postgraduate HSE qualification.
• Minimum of 20 years’ experience of Safety Engineering management including at least 10 years in the upstream & downstream oil and gas industry.
• Working knowledge of health, safety and Environmental standards and guidelines, and hazard assessment and risk management used in the oil and gas industry.
• Working experience of emergency response planning and preparedness in the upstream oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of the safety, accident, and fire prevention; knowledge of first aid methods and techniques and full skill in the proper use of fire equipment.
• Member of recognized industry body (IOSH, NEBOSH, IRCA, OSHA etc.). Extensive knowledge of ISO, OHSAS 18001 and other international HSE bodies.
• Working experience of emergency response planning and preparedness in the upstream oil and gas industry.
• Discipline during meetings, audits, verifications, workshops, and technical reviews and be responsible for an effective and timely resolution of identified issues in the company
• Provide technical support related to Safety Engineering fields and sites, whenever required.
• Continuously seeking to improve working methods, tools and procedures and contribute actively to the Safety Engineering Discipline development.
• Working experience of completing environmental impact assessments, risk assessments and environmental audits, environmental baseline study projects …etc.
• Knowledge of principles and methods for training design, for individuals and groups.
• Knowledge of HSE laws, government regulations, executive orders, as well as international standards.
• Candidates for this post should be fluent in written and spoken English and be familiar in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Updating as necessary of quality assurance inspection including the development of HSE procedure.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering) with an appropriate postgraduate HSE qualification.
• Stable Employment Record: min. 5 years continuous employment with refutable Oil & Gas Producer.
• Age: Not more than 55 years.
