Deck Yard HSE Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures for the deck yard facilities in compliance with local and international regulations
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate and conduct HSE training for all employees and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards
  • Investigate and report on any incidents or accidents, and implement preventive measures
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all HSE activities
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure HSE requirements are met on all projects
  • Monitor and review HSE performance and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and make recommendations for their implementation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in HSE management, preferably in a deck yard or construction environment
  • Experience in conducting safety audits and inspections
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
