Job Summary

We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Rigger Erectors to support construction and commissioning projects for a leading client in the Oil & Gas Downstream industry. This is an excellent opportunity to work on challenging, high-profile projects while contributing to safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform safe and accurate rigging and erection of heavy equipment and structural components.
• Assess load weights and select appropriate lifting tools and equipment.
• Follow and enforce all safety regulations, rigging codes, and site protocols.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and rigging plans.
• Use hand signals and international crane language codes to communicate with crane operators.
• Operate at heights, including work on chimneys, flare stacks, and elevated platforms.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and team members to execute lifting and installation tasks on schedule.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in rigging and erection work, specifically in refineries or petrochemical plants.
• Strong ability to assess weights, load balance, and equipment selection for lifting operations.
• Deep knowledge of rigging safety practices, equipment usage, and international codes.
• Must have sharp eyesight, good hearing, and be physically fit for working at heights and in high-risk zones.
• Experience with construction and commissioning environments is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and construction drawings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
