Responsibilities
- Lead and provide guidance to a team of cost control and contract administration professionals during project start-up and execution.
- Lead participation in procurement processes to review technical scopes, volumes, execution strategies, and technical analysis in coordination with user departments and SCM.
- Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle including planning, execution, control, certification, modifications, and closure. Conduct follow-up meetings with suppliers and internal teams.
- Prepare purchase requisitions (SOLPED), purchase orders, service orders and HES/HEM. Ensure proper cost allocation and accounting structure.
- Participate in budgeting and annual procurement planning.
- Ensure SAP cost management. Monitor future expenditure forecasts and deviations.
- Validate invoicing.
- Coordinate with suppliers, SCM, Finance.
- Manage contract changes.
- Ensure document control and data integrity. Participate in audits.
- Capture lessons learned.
- Manage contract close-out.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas.
- Experience in cost control and contract management.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams.
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Experience in SAP required; Spotfire, Power BI, Primavera, OpenWells preferred.
