Activities
1. Engineering and Design Oversight
• Ensure robust and safe onshore and offshore pipeline designs meet contract specifications, general specifications, and international standards.
• Supervise the entire lifecycle of pipeline systems from FEED to operation, including detailed engineering, qualification, manufacturing, fabrication, construction, installation, and pre-commissioning.
2. Technical Documentation and Review
• Review and approve all contractor documents, ensuring prompt dispatch and proper prioritization.
• Manage specifications, requisitions, layouts, P&IDs, installation analyses, and reports.
3. HSE Compliance
• Ensure that all design activities align with HSE requirements.
• Liaise with QHSES and QA/QC managers to ensure safe and maintainable designs.
4. Coordination and Interface Management
• Ensure coherence between offshore pipeline systems and other project packages, including onshore, SPS, construction, and operation.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure adherence to project schedule, budget, and technical quality.
5. Risk Management
• Identify and resolve technical issues during pipeline activities, ensuring robust design and qualification outcomes for procurement, fabrication, and installation.
• Participate in technical reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, risk assessments) and ensure implementation of recommendations.
6. Change Management
• Monitor contractor performance and support the management of associated change order requests.
7. Construction and Pre-Commissioning
• Supervise construction, pre-commissioning, and startup activities to ensure safe delivery as per Company requirements.
Qualifications & Experience Required
• Education Chartered Engineer or equivalent.
• Languages English (mandatory).
• Professional Experience 10-15 years in the Oil & Gas Industry or construction field.
• Similar Position Experience +10 years in pipeline engineering or related roles.
