To ensure full compliance with the HBR HSE policies and procedures, HSE Standards and other appropriate contractor HSE documents.
Execute, supervise and monitor drilling operations in accordance to Well Proposal at drilling site on rotational basis.
Perform geological correlations and monitoring for formation tops identification, casing landing purposes in critical drilling section, and for reservoir section supporting any decision making from Company office.
Supervise, plan and design geological data acquisition programs provided by service contractors (mudlogging, wireline logging, coring, etc) by conducting auditable QA/QC to service provider processes, procedures and equipment at drilling site to ensure the service provider provide highest quality of services with fit to purpose solutions to highest HSE standard.
Supervise and update on the day-to-day geological operations and perform timely and accurate preparations and submissions of Daily Geological Reports.
Verify and deliver all geological information, e.g., well correlation, well trajectory, well drilling progresses and ctc. from drilling site to Operations Geologist, and coordinates with Drilling supervisors for subsurface information and concerns.
Able to advise operations geologist and subsurface team with relevant recommendations and decisions based on the information receiving from drilling site in a timely manner.
Check and verify all reports, logs, from the contractors prior to sending to Company office.
Monitor and supervise the collecting, analysing and dispatching of geological samples (cuttings samples, fluid samples).
Support and monitor coring operations (determine coring point, perform core descriptions, witness core handling)
Arrange logistics concerning the contractors and equipment of formation evaluation.
Reporting of findings/
Morning operations update email with Daily Geological Report using MS Excel.
Attachment of digital survey data for entire well to date in either ASCII or Microsoft Excel format.
Attachment of an image of master logs after QC by Wellsite Geologist.
Attachment of an image of a composite log merging lithological and LWD data.
All reports are required to send to operations geologist, subsurface team and drilling team via email.
Verbal reporting, in additions to the formal reports discussed above via telephone calls between wellsite geologist and operations geologist. A further phone call will be made at 15:00 hrs to update on the day's progress and prepare out-of-hours geological operations plans for the following night.
Preparation and submission of wellsite geology final well reports, wireline logging supervision report and appropriate logs regarding geological operations.
