Senior Drilling Engineer

Job Description

• Plan and engineer drilling projects including regulatory permits, program preparation, casing design, cost estimation, and AFE.
• Analyze offset wells, risks, hazards, trajectory planning, hydraulic design, and BHA selection.
• Support operations during execution. Monitor KPIs (NPT, ILT).
• Prepare procurement documents and manage contracts.
• Support SCM in tenders.
• Ensure HSE compliance and participate in audits.
• Lead optimization initiatives and technology adoption.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree.
• Minimum 10 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge in completions.
• Experience in Venezuela may be required.
• Well Control certification preferred (IWCF Level 4).
• Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, OpenWells, SAP. Strong communication skills.
