Reporting to EPC 1 or EPC2/3, the Project Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the effective coordination of the engineering, procurement and construction areas on this project. Responsible of the supervision of PROJECT all activities to ensure adherence to contractual requirements, PROJECT specifications and procedures; to highlight design issues and ensure design input is appropriately shared amongst all engineering disciplines. Shall also be responsible of integrating the engineering input to Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning. He shall also be knowledgeable of the Start-up activities, participated in the pre-Start-up PSSR´s, troubleshooting, and clearance of punch-list and warranty items. Experience in performance testing and project close-out activities is mandatory
Project Engineer will monitor that all activities are performed as scheduled in order to guarantee that project is being developed as planned.Anticipate need of EPC contractor and analyse the impacts of EPC contractor deviations.
Assure that engineering and procurement activities are done both in time and quality to satisfy construction activities.
Support Contract Manager with specifics of the contract.
Check that waivers raised by EPC contractor are acceptable or not and manager the MOC register.
Attend HAZID, ENVID; HAZOPS etc. Deeply focused in process safety design and design a safety facility.
Ensure the right coordination between Project managers and Engineering, procurement and Construction.
Reviews amendments and change orders to accommodate unanticipated situations and ensure compliance with relevant contracts.
Propose improvements for project processes.
Create and maintain a One month look ahead anticipating problems and advancing measures to mitigate/fix them
