Subordinates Plant operations superintendent, Maintenance operations superintendent, Maintenance engineering superintendent, Laboratory supervisor, Tank farm supervisor, Well head operations superintendent

1- Job Purpose

To manage production operations (plant operations, well head operations, tank farm, laboratory, maintenance operations and engineering) at onshore or offshore field

2- Main Responsibilities

• Meeting assigned production targets
• Meeting assigned maintenance targets
• Meeting HSEQ targets for production and maintenance operations

3- Key Activities

• Monitoring and controlling production to meet production targets
• Monitoring plant functionality and plant technical problems fixing
• Controlling data gathering from well areas and plants
• Coordinating the activities of production and maintenance departments (to achieve maintenance requirements with minimum impact on production)
• Coordinating operations engineering
• Providing production reports to field manager

3- Main Internal Interfaces

Reservoir, to provide input data for geological model updating

4- Main External Interfaces

External service suppliers

5 - Qualification & Experience

Education

Engineering/Technical degree or Technical diploma

Training & Courses

• Management skills basic course
• Management skills advanced course (preferred)
• HSE basic course
• Maintenance basic course (preferred)
• Oil & Gas surface production facilities course
• Offshore survival course (mandatory if job requires offshore work)

Languages

• Fluent knowledge of English
• Intermediate knowledge of the local language preferred

Required Experience

• 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry in both onshore and/or offshore facilities
• 3 years of experience on direct coordination of operations and maintenance activities

Required Knowledge, Technical or Professional Skills

• Commissioning - Start UpGas Plant Start-Up, Oil & Condensate Plant Start-Up
• Production Operations Plant Management, Plant Prod Optimization, Maintenance Management, Oper/ Mant Advising
