Job Title : Engineering Manager

Reports: Development Project Manager

Subordinates: Construction advisor, Project engineers

1- Job Purpose:

To manage all engineering design activities for offshore/onshore hydrocarbon production faci ities from initial concept through to project sanction, and possibly through project execution, ensuring that the design meets project objectives for cost, schedule, safety and environmental impact.

2- Main Responsibilities:

• Conceptual and Basic Design to Feed design integrity
• Preparation of pertinent rrr scope of work, technical advice and administrate the engineering contracts
• Application of relevant laws and regulations, HSEQ local norms and company standards
• Meeting HSEQ targets

3- Key Activities :

• Facilities engineering planning and monitoring (schedule, wbs, cost and compliance of work to project specifications)
• Reviewing design reviews and contractors engineering plan
• Identifying and adopting correct engineering and HSEQ standards according to company standards and local norms and legislation.
• Managing contractors and engineering team

3- Main External Interfaces :

• Contractors
• Joint venture companies for reviews

4 – Qualification & Experience :

Education:

• Engineering degree

Training & Courses:

• Management skills advanced course
• Project management basic course (preferred)

Languages :

• Fluent knowledge of English
• Intermediate knowledge of the local language preferred

Required Experience :

• 10 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience
• 10 years of onshore/offshore engineering experience
