Position Electrical QA/QC Inspector (Underground Works)
Main Responsibilities
Perform QA/QC inspections for underground electrical works in accordance with project specifications, approved procedures, and international standards.
Inspect underground electrical installations including cable trenches, duct banks, conduits, grounding systems, and underground cable laying activities.
Verify installation quality, material compliance, and workmanship during all phases of construction.
Conduct inspections and witness testing activities related to underground electrical systems.
Review and verify inspection reports, test records, redline drawings, and QA/QC documentation.
Ensure compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and project quality requirements.
Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, QA/QC personnel, and client representatives during inspections and site activities.
Participate in walkdowns, punch list activities, and final acceptance inspections.
Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and company procedures.
Provide daily inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as an Electrical QA/QC Inspector on industrial, oil & gas, power, or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of underground electrical installation practices and inspection requirements.
Familiarity with cable installation, grounding systems, duct banks, conduits, and underground electrical infrastructure.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, specifications, and technical documentation.
Knowledge of international electrical codes, standards, and QA/QC procedures.
Experience preparing and reviewing QA/QC documentation and inspection reports.
Strong communication and coordination skills in multicultural work environments.
Relevant electrical qualification or inspection certification preferred.
Working Conditions
Site-based position in an industrial or construction environment.
Work may involve outdoor activities and underground construction areas.
Compliance with all site safety and quality procedures is mandatory.
