Responsibilities
- Design, develop and supervise the electrical discipline projects. (2) Preliminary & FEED study, budgetary study, planning, plant development/ modification / expansion.
- Review, approve and amend EPC Contractor's design and proposals. Manage technical input and deliverables for the projects.
- Improving power generation & distribution system with associated electrical facilities.
Desired skills and experience
- Min. 15 years combined experiences in the oil & gas industry with a focus on engineering design, installation, testing, commissioning, operation & maintenance of major oil & gas and power facilities.
- Applicant should be capable to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and should be a self stated with the ability to direct others and require minimal supervision.
- Must have knowledge and experiences in power generation, e.g., diesel generator & gas turbine, with notable experience in the design and installation of electrical system including power substations and transmission / distribution system in the oil & gas industry.
- Must have experience in the installation and testing of protective relays, MV circuit breakers, electrical equipment, overhead lines, etc.
- Must possess wide knowledge of the relevant international codes and standards applied in the oil & gas and power industry.
- Candidate must have a positive attitude to teamwork, and should have experience working abroad with frequent site visits to monitor projects he is involved with, desert experience preferable.
- Must possess good English written and oral communication skills.
- Must have proven stable employment records.
- Computer literate, MS Office, MS Project etc.
- Should not be older than age fifty-five (55).
