Lead production optimization solutions for existing producing wells and future development areas.
Responsible for routine well surveillance, problem well diagnostics and proficient in downhole remediation practices and prepare field operational procedures.
Work with drilling team on completion proposal, installation, snubbing unit operation, tubing installation and retrieval.
Trial test new advanced well completion technologies and provide technical support to designing advanced well completions.
Daily operation monitoring and support well surveillance.
Lead group of engineers in specific tasks and studies such as a new field development, a new technology trial test and participate in the company engineering standard review and the development of young professionals.
Work with drilling department and frac service provider on wellhead transition, barrier requirements and design fit for purpose solutions.
Plan and program field/wells opportunities, surveillance plan a providing support to business plan.
Responsible for well and field completion performance and integrity modeling using softwares such as WellCat.
Requirements:
Engineering Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related subject. Advanced engineering degree is an advantage
Minimum 10 years of experience in completion engineering with reputable operators with ample international experience.
Must demonstrate experience in leading well and operation design for complex operations, such as: remote operations, exploration campaigns, HPHT, unconventional, complex directional wells, etc.
Must demonstrate ability to influence and lead change in improving engineering and operational practices.
Valid IWCF well control level 4 (Supervisory Level).
Strong knowledge of completion design principles and international standards, such as: API, BS, Norsok, etc.
