Activities
Propose, define, develop and implement tools to improve the performance of current wind yield engineering activities, with a specific focus on CFD modelling.
Benchmark wind flow models, improve use of existing wind flow models, propose & develop new wind flow models ;
Benchmark wake models, improve use of existing wake models, propose & develop new wake model use ;
Propose and pilot technology development projects focused on digitalization of wind yield methods for the Company ;
Participate to the methodology emulation/sharing/transmission within the Wind Energy Yield Engineer Community; Create, revise, review Referential regarding Wind Energy Yield : Company Rules, Guides & Manuals, General Specification;
Participate in R&D activities and the development of internal tools ;
Create & perform technical training for wind yield engineer;
Wind yield technology watch and benchmark;
Support all activities relating to the expertise of wind measurement, analysis of wind resources and calculation of wind energy [Onshore/Offshore]; This list is not exhaustive.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Great technical capacity to pilot and create new tools & method for wind yield engineering but also great soft skills to be able to animate & federate the methodology enhancement.
Degree qualified engineer, 5 year experience in wind activities
Good knowledge in wind energy yield models and methods (5 years)
Good knowledge in fluid mechanical, numerical analysis, statistics, meteorology
GREAT capacity to use/adapt/transform CFD wind engineering soft
Great programming ability
Scientific mind set, team spirit and great autonomy will be necessary to succeed in the mission
Good knowledge English (written and spoken), and knowledge of French would be appreciated
