EDF Renewables is recruiting two experienced Senior Authorized Persons (SAP HTB) to support the commissioning of a major offshore wind farm in France.
The successful candidates will be responsible for high-voltage electrical safety and commissioning activities on the Offshore Substation (OSS), ensuring the safe energization of electrical systems throughout the commissioning phase.
· Ouistreham, France
· Offshore onboard Service Operation Vessel (SOV) when required
Start Date October 2026 (candidates available from January 2027 may also be considered)
End Date June 2028
Rotation 14 days ON / 14 days OFF
Initially, work will mainly consist of daily offshore transfers. During certain project phases, work will be performed onboard an SOV under a rotational schedule.
· Perform Senior Authorized Person (SAP HTB) duties.
· Prepare and manage electrical isolations.
· Apply Lock-Out / Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.
· Issue and control Permits to Work.
· Supervise high-voltage switching operations.
· Coordinate energization activities.
· Lead commissioning activities on the Offshore Substation.
· Ensure compliance with electrical safety rules and project procedures.
· Interface with Commissioning Managers, Control Engineers and Contractors.
· Review commissioning documentation and procedures.
· Participate in FAT, SAT and energization campaigns.
· Produce commissioning reports and technical documentation.
· Promote the highest HSE standards throughout project execution.
· Significant experience as Senior Authorized Person (SAP HTB).
· Previous Offshore Substation (OSS) commissioning experience.
· Strong background as a Control Engineer.
· High Voltage switching experience.
· Electrical commissioning experience.
· Previous offshore wind project experience.
· SCADA systems knowledge.
· Protection relay experience.
· Export Substation commissioning experience.
· GWO Basic Safety Training
· GWO Enhanced First Aid
· GWO Advanced Rescue
· GWO Boat Landing
· Electrical Authorization: H2 / B2 / HC / BC / BR
· Offshore Medical Certificate
· Valid Passport (minimum one-year validity)
