Procurement Officer (Local) / Acheteur Principal

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Head of Procurement to develop and implement sourcing strategies for domestic suppliers aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

• Identify and evaluate domestic suppliers, conducting market research, supplier evaluations, and due diligence to assess capabilities, reliability, and pricing.

• Prepare and issue requests for quotations (RFQs), requests for proposals (RFPs), and requests for information (RFIs) to domestic suppliers.

• Evaluate supplier proposals and quotations, considering technical, commercial, and contractual aspects.

• Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with domestic suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.

• Manage supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.

• Collaborate with the transport teams to ensure smooth logistics and delivery of domestic goods.

• Stay updated with local market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments.

• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their domestic procurement needs and provide guidance on domestic procurement processes and procedures.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of domestic procurement processes, systems, and tools.
