Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of work assigned from start to finish and ensure that all work is carried out within the set time and budgetary requirements.
• Prepare and manage engineering projects to include specification, design, life cycle cost, equipment selection, planned maintenance programs, dilapidations, acquisitions, and the preparation of and review of tender documentation.
• Conduct surveys to gather field data e.g., asset collection.
• Prepare and interpret engineering reports, drawings, layouts and other (visual) aids.
• Identify the design needs of clients.
• Providing expert advice with process recommendation to other engineers.
• To review, approve and amend EPC contractor's designs and proposals.

Desired skills and experience

• Min. 10+ years combined experiences in the oil & gas industry as a project engineer (mechanical discipline) with a focus on project management, engineering design, installation, testing, commissioning, operation & maintenance of major oil & gas production / separation/ compression / storage / transportation equipment & facilities.
• Bachelor of Science of Mechanical Engineer
• Candidate should have thorough knowledge of rotating & static machinery and piping / pipeline, e.g., atmospheric/cryogenic storage tank, pressure vessel, pump, compressor, piping & etc.
• Applicant should be capable to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and should be a self-stated with the ability to direct others and require minimal supervision.
• Applicant should possess a wide knowledge of relevant international codes and standards applied in oil & gas industry and should be fluent in spoken and written English with reporting skill.
• Awareness of routine engineering design & calculations using computer software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, FEM Analysis, Fluid Flow & Hydrostatic Simulation, & etc.
• Applicant must have excellent understanding and organizational skills to coordinate projects and technical staff in the preparation of all project requirements for Design Basis, FEED studies, bidding documents and tender evaluations.
• Candidate must have a positive attitude to team work and should have experience working abroad with frequent site visits to monitor projects he is involved with, desert experience preferable.
• Candidate should show proven stable employment records.
