Responsibilities
Monitoring Expenditures The Drilling Superintendent oversees daily drilling expenses, aiming for the most cost-effective wells. They review equipment planning with Drilling Engineers, Supervisors, and Material & Logistics Coordinators to ensure timely equipment arrivals and prevent overstocking.
Representing the Company The Drilling Superintendent represents the company in all drilling-related activities required to drill, evaluate, and complete a well.
Key Tasks
Cost-Effective Drilling Monitoring daily expenditures to optimize costs.
Equipment Coordination Collaborating with relevant personnel to ensure timely equipment delivery.
Well Completion: Overseeing drilling, evaluation, and well completion processes.
Qualifications
Engineering Degree.
Minimum 15 years of experience, which include working as operator/contractor drilling supervisor, with extensive operator experience and ample international experience, including Day Drilling Supervisor for operator. Prior experience as a Superintendent strongly desirable. Experience in drilling engineering and as toolpusher is an advantage.
Ability to supervise both drilling and completion operations.
Experience supervising and mentoring engineers.
Valid IWCF well control level 4 (Supervisory Level).
Experience in Algeria and IN Amenas & In Salah bassins is an advantage.
