Responsibilities

On Project

For all pressure vessels on which the specialist is involved :

• Ensure the technical definition of the pressure vessels
• Ensure, mechanical pre-dimensioning (calculations according to ASME code), 2D and 3D design and preparation of drawings (sketches or detail drawings) using drawing software ( (Microstation and/or solidworks).

Depending on the lead's requirements

• Drawing up the technical documents required for the purchase of this equipment.
• Validate the technical compliance of the bids received with the tender documents
• Draw up the technical comparison of the proposals prepared by the suppliers
• Review the supplier documentation (drawings, calculation notes, welding manual, procedures).

To support the lead engineer on

• Drawing up boilerwork equipment plans and as required: drawing up technical specifications, validating sales documentation.

Skills required

• Knowledge of pressure equipment
• Knowledge of the ASME code
• Previous experience in an engineering pressure equipment department monitoring such equipment
• Technical English (professional reading/writing)
• Very good command of Solidworks and/or Microstation software for producing sketches/guide drawings of boilerwork equipment.
