The estimated overall duration is 1 year starting early February/march 2024 (visa depending)
Job dimension
Optimizing the application of fluids, cement, and waste management services on the field.
Coordinate actions between the different parties involved to ensure that the best procedures are followed.
Supervise all critical rig-site fluids-related operation, like cementing jobs, mud displacements, formation integrity test, etc.
Reporting any Solids Control Equipment failure or non-conformance services.
Participating in the onsite fluids and cement instruction preparation, e.g. cementing programs preparation, mud maintenance.
Performing quality assurance of mud and cement systems, stock inventory, products consumption and Contractor reporting.
Ensuring that Company and Contractor HSE standards are fully respected.
Checking all Well Environmental reports are completed and validated through supervision of a Compliance engineer onboard the rig.
Participating in the preparation of the Fluids, Cement and Waste Management annual reports that are requested by HQ.
Initiating the preparation of the SQM’s by providing offshore feedback to the Fluids and Cement Superintendent (FSI).
Capturing through return of experience (REX) all lessons learnt during the operation Candidate must be flexible concerning the location depending on the start date of the project
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Deep Water and exploration well - WBM and NABM systems.
Mandatory : fluent in English (spoken and written), French language written and spoken is a plus
It’s required that the Fluids and Cement Senior Supervisor has a diploma (Bachelor or University diploma or Higher Technical diploma).
IWCF “Updated” -> E.Learning Certification is not accepted.
BOSIET (Opito) with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) Training.
Medical certificate (less than 1 year) by an official organism (i.e : ISOS center).
Should be a team player and possess good communication skills to improve fluids management on rig location.
Should be sensitive to cultural differences between different members of team and be flexible in management style.
Should be able to achieve company objectives through a good coordination between all parties involved.
