The Completion Engineer will lead the planning, design, and support of well completions for the 32-well subsea development campaign .
He ensures optimal design for performance, cost, and safety, working closely with service providers and company technical entities.
Activities
- Define lower and upper completion design in collaboration with subsurface and production teams
- Evaluate and select completion technologies adapted to formation and production requirements
- Lead tendering process for completion services and tools
- Prepare detailed programs and contingency plans
- Define fluids, cleanout tools, and deployment methods
- Coordinate with Drilling, Well Integrity, and Production to ensure seamless integration
- Participate in execution follow-up and post-job analysis
- Propose improvements based on operational feedback
Qualifications & Experience Required
- 15+ years in Completion Engineering for subsea developments
- Experience in the Guyana Basin preferred
- Knowledge of smart completions, sand control, and interventionless designs
- Ability to manage complex interfaces and high service density wells
- Fluent in English; French a plus
