Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures for the deck yard facilities in compliance with local and international regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate and conduct HSE training for all employees and contractors
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards
- Investigate and report on any incidents or accidents, and implement preventive measures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all HSE activities
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure HSE requirements are met on all projects
- Monitor and review HSE performance and provide recommendations for improvement
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and make recommendations for their implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in HSE management, preferably in a deck yard or construction environment
- Experience in conducting safety audits and inspections
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
