Activities
- Manage all activities related to the prequalification, preparation, issuance, assessment, and award of tenders and contracts.
- Represent the project team on contract issues during internal and external meetings.
- Provide contracts and procurement advice to project stakeholders.
- Identify contract variations early and communicate them to the relevant Package Contract Representative.
- Prepare documentation for TEP Oman Contracts Committee and JV approval bodies.
- Participate in contract audits and ensure documentation accuracy and compliance.
- Handle commercial and contractual correspondence with contractors.
- Liaise with project teams and contractors to track milestones and avoid delays or penalties.
- Maintain time, payment, and milestone schedules; provide advice on payment terms.
- Monitor contract payment status and prepare contractual credit and liability reports.
- Manage legal issues such as damages, claims, and disputes.
- Advise on contractual, commercial, taxation, insurance, and legal matters.
- Contribute to weekly and monthly contracts and procurement reports.
- Ensure that ICV (In-Country Value) objectives are implemented.
- Negotiate contract variations with contractors.
- Lead the development and execution of sourcing, pre-tenders, ITTs, tender openings, and proposal evaluations.
- Ensure procurement and contract administration align with COMPANY/JOA approved procedures.
- Prepare submissions for Contracts Committee (Prequalification Plan, Procurement Plan, RFA & RFV).
- Conduct market investigations and benchmark activities to ensure competitive pricing and industry alignment.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Education: Engineering degree
- Professional experience: 10+ years in contracts/procurement, including EPC and O&M
- Middle East experience: Preferred
- Languages: Fluent in English

- International travel may be required due to the distribution of contractors and vendors across different locations.
