Missions / Service Dimensions

The service holder is responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities (tendering / contracting phase) of contracts that could be necessary during the Life of Project and activities related to the management of Feed contracts up to the close out.

Main Activities

• Support Project Management for Contract Project activities.
• Stay informed about Company Rules, Specifications, and procedures related to Contract and Procurement.
• Implement and verify procedures associated with Contract activities.
• Organize, direct, supervise, and support contract engineers.
• Coordinate the tendering/contracting process, including pre-qualification if necessary.
• Manage Contract Management during the Execution of the FEED Contract.
• Participate in the settlement of disputes with legal, insurance, and finance specialists.
• Coordinate/participate in the approval process of contract amendments.
• Apply or ensure the application of the Due Diligence procedure.
• Supervise the close-out of Contracts.
• Define and implement a reporting process for Contract Management activities.
• Report to the Project Control Manager, highlighting progress and areas of concern.
• Gather 'lessons learnt' and provide feedback to other COMPANY entities.
• Act as Project Control Manager in their absence.

Qualifications & Experience Required

Qualification: An engineering degree or an equivalent qualification is required, along with a comprehensive understanding of contract development and management in an international context. While membership in the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS UK or Nigeria) or similar supply chain organizations is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged.

Candidate’s ability to utilize SAP/R3 and e-sourcing tools will be an added advantage.
