Key Responsibilities
- Oversee installation, alignment, and commissioning of compressors in compliance with GE standards.
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, minimizing equipment downtime.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of compressor control systems.
- Conduct performance testing and ensure operational efficiency.
- Prepare detailed service reports and technical documentation for completed tasks.
- Adhere to all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) protocols.
- Provide technical guidance and training to the client’s team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with industrial compressors, ideally GE equipment.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining compressor systems and control panels.
- Strong knowledge of compressor performance metrics and related software tools.
- Fluent in English and French; Arabic is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Algeria and internationally as required.
