Commissioning – Team leader on reactor core physics

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and oversight on core physics-related activities.
• Conduct detailed analyses and simulations to ensure optimal core performance.
• Collaborate with Rosatom, Nuvia, and other stakeholders to integrate core physics analyses with overall plant operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and international and local regulations related to core physics.
• Develop and validate core physics models and methodologies.
• Provide training and mentorship to local staff on core physics principles and practices.
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation on core physics activities.

Requirements

• Nuclear Power Plant Expertise Proven expertise in core physics for nuclear power plants is essential.
• Experience Minimum of 10 years of experience in core physics for nuclear power plants or similar projects.
• Start Date October 1, 2024.
• Long Term Contract Initial contract of one year, renewable.
• Employment Conditions and Rights In accordance with Turkish Labour Law.

Qualifications

• Degree in nuclear engineering, physics, or a related field.
• Strong experience in core physics analysis and simulation.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent understanding of nuclear safety standards and regulations related to core physics.
• Ability to work effectively with multinational teams.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Turkish is an asset.
