Chef de Projet – Mise en conformité Digital Control System et Automate sur CCGT (Centrale Electrique)

Project Phases

• Engineering Company Selection (Q1 2026) Competitive tender to select an independent engineering company for pre-study on Saint-Avold 7 and Castejon 1, with optional extension to other sites.
• Pre-Study Execution (Q3-Q4 2026) Definition of target DCS and automation architectures, technical solutions, and cost estimates.
• Detailed Engineering & Execution (until Q3 2028) Tendering, contracting, detailed engineering, preparation, and implementation for Saint-Avold 7 and Castejon 1, with optional extension to other sites.

Role and Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager for the overall DCS/Automation compliance project
• Lead and coordinate the engineering company during the pre-study phase
• Review, update, and complete specifications for the pre-study phase
• Interface with power plant site teams, TotalEnergies technical teams, OEMs, and suppliers (Siemens, ABB, GE, Ansaldo)
• Provide technical expertise in automation, DCS, and safety architectures to ensure robust and compliant solutions
• Ensure alignment with TotalEnergies standards, cybersecurity requirements, and project schedules
• Benchmark similar initiatives by other European CCGT operators
• Contribute to tendering, contractor mobilization, and other technical or project-related activities as needed

Key Deliverables

• Benchmark report on DCS and automation compliance initiatives by other European operators
• Finalized pre-study specifications and tender documentation
• Centralized technical documentation from sites and OEMs
• Updated technical documents as required
• Project management documentation including strategy, activity reports, MoM, and project planning
• Tender documentation for detailed engineering, preparation, and execution of selected architectures

Required Skills and Experience

Technical & Project Management Skills

• Minimum 10 years as a Project Manager in instrumentation, automation, DCS, and industrial safety systems
• Proven experience managing complex industrial projects in power generation or similar process industries
• Strong expertise in industrial automation systems, DCS architectures, and safety systems

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical mindset, rigor, organization, autonomy, and anticipation capability
• Initiative, excellent communication skills, teamwork mindset
• Ability to synthesize complex information and take a step back when needed

Languages

• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
