Job Summary
We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Rigger Erectors to support construction and commissioning projects for a leading client in the Oil & Gas Downstream industry. This is an excellent opportunity to work on challenging, high-profile projects while contributing to safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform safe and accurate rigging and erection of heavy equipment and structural components.
- Assess load weights and select appropriate lifting tools and equipment.
- Follow and enforce all safety regulations, rigging codes, and site protocols.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and rigging plans.
- Use hand signals and international crane language codes to communicate with crane operators.
- Operate at heights, including work on chimneys, flare stacks, and elevated platforms.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and team members to execute lifting and installation tasks on schedule.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in rigging and erection work, specifically in refineries or petrochemical plants.
- Strong ability to assess weights, load balance, and equipment selection for lifting operations.
- Deep knowledge of rigging safety practices, equipment usage, and international codes.
- Must have sharp eyesight, good hearing, and be physically fit for working at heights and in high-risk zones.
- Experience with construction and commissioning environments is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical and construction drawings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
