Resident Engineer

Location Baila, Mozambique

Qualification and skills

• Minimum professional experience of 10 years and graduated from a recognized university or E&M engineering school/institute (minimum equivalent to MSc)
• Civil engineer.
• At least 10 years’ experience of urban sanitation systems.
• Good knowledge of work supervision procedure.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English

Overall experience

• General experience of 15 years, 10 of which in driving construction or rehabilitation of sewer systems, pumping stations and/or WWTP.
• Strong experience in work supervision on project of more than 10 million euros.

Specific experience

• Experience of working in engineering/design, work supervision or construction management of urban sanitation systems.
• Experience in civil engineering including ground investigations, geotechnical study, structural design, assessment of concrete quality.
• Expérience in CCTV inspection, cleaning technics and trenchless technics for sewer rehabilitation work is plus.
• Experience in FIDIC contract management.
